Congratulations, eUnited! After a hard fight throughout the Fall Split, Super Regionals, and the SMITE World Championships, this North American team has won it all and taken home the World Championship trophy.

The five members of eUnited — PandaCat, PolarBearMike, Venenu, Screammmm, and Benji — came into HRX 2018 as the #1 NA seed, and ended up facing #1 EU seed Team RivaL in the Grand Finals. Though RivaL was able to take a single game in this best-of-five set, eUnited pulled out a dominant performance that the EU boys simply couldn’t stand up to. They controlled these all-important games at every turn and finally broke the NA curse that has seemed to plague the SMITE Pro League for years. For more information on how it all played out, you can check out our recap of the World Championship Grand Finals or watch the VOD of the match-deciding game below:

With that victory, HRX 2018 and Season 4 of SMITE have come to a close. Once again, we’d like to congratulate the eUnited boys for the World Championship title that they’ve worked so hard to earn.¬† But there’s no rest for the talented, as they only have a few short months before the Season 5 Spring Split gets underway. We don’t know what eUnited will be bringing to the table in this new year of SMITE, but we’re excited to see what these reining world champs have in store!
